Comet C/2014 Q2 (Lovejoy) 30-12-14 in moonlight.

Hi,

Here's Lovejoy from the 30th under moon light 68% illumination.

More an exercise to see if I could bring out the tail, moderate success.

I've supplied a single sub to show the wash out.

Cheers,

Justin.

Still, not a bad result Justin. But, yeah, it would be a bit disappointing to see the tail disappearing into the moons glow. I just hope we still have a good shot at it come new moon.

Cheers - Trevor

Thanks Trevor!

Yes, keeping my fingers crossed it's still performing when the moon disappears.

Cheers,

Justin.
