Helix calibation used

Hi
I've reprocessed the Helix from a few days ago using better calibration techniques of dark subtraction, blurred background lighting removal, white and dark point settings etc

more time consuming but better than my previous outcome from one long 20 minute exposure.

10X 483" ISO 800 C9.25 F6.3 CG5 autoguided EOS 20Da (with a nice clean sensor now)

cheers
frank

Looking better Frank...you should work on some flats next to get rid of the vignetting.

Thanks Andrew,
I'm trying!

I took the camera to a shop in Canberra. but I bought the kit to do it myself in future but I'm hoping a co-worker who regularly cleans his Nikon sensor himself can walk me through it the first time (I'm nervous as...I think I'll postpone doing this for a very long time!)
