that's looking fantastic -well done & your best version.
I ended up with about 5 versions of my own on the Tarantula.
It's a beast to process.

Great pic Ian. Really good rendition of the nebulosity over the whole frame. I'm still going through various iterations of my spider.

Other than the fact that this image is superb, can I just say a huge thank you, for taking so much care with your beautiful framing.
So many times, we see the Tarantula just in the middle of the screen; there's so much more to the object than the central nebula, as can be seen in this fantastic rendition.
Composition is just as important in astrophotography as it is in any other discipline of photography.

I like all 3 actually, well done. Although the 200k thumb nails are pretty good, your doing yourself a diservice not providing links to full res. All that work for 200k pics, really?.

The colours look ok Ian, but the full res image shows signs of heavy noise reduction. It would be better to get more data to reduce the noise than using heavy noise reduction.

Actually it’s more the star-size reducing procedure than the noise reduction itself that shows the symptoms of heavy-processing. In the NB-versions the stars’ sizes are smaller and when mixed with LRGB one gets the circle-in-circle effect. I chose to keep the stars under control …
