Test images from modded toucam/SLR lens

Built this contraption a few days ago. Dave P's long exposure modded toucam & Lesters Minolta SLR lens.

Heres some test images from it.

How did you attach the camera lens to the 1.25" adaptor?

Hi Ken. They are not really attached at all. I found a rack & pinion off a overhead projector down the tip a long time ago & the lens sits on the moveable pinion & the toucam is bolted to the rack. To get focus, I simply turn the knob & the lens (held securely with 1 rubber band & a piece of elastic ) moves but the camera stays put!

I found the focal point & then made 2 different dia. dew/ stray light shields;(black cardboard) one on the camera & one on the lens.
