Rho Ophiuchi Wide Field

G'day

I captured this area earlier in the year but have since developed a lot better processing technique and have had a go at reprocessing, and am pleased with the improvement. It's far from perfect so any advice is welcome.

See large version Here.

36x 600 sec subs with the Canon 1100d and 85mm lens.

Cheers
Jo

Real nice work there Jo, great improvement, really controlling that noise there and the colours look great. Love the lens aperture spikes too!

Sorry for the late reply,

Thank you every one for your comments! I really appreciate them

Rusty, the main difference in processing was using StarTools and being able to mask the stars while bringing out the background.

Cheers
Jo
