I made the dobbie mount for this older 114 scope a few years back for the school where my wife works. It was on an eq mount that just terrified the staff,
. They used the remounted scope for some time after that, but not recently for a long time.
They've asked me if I would like to have it.
I don't need it, and I thought the scope would be better suited to go to a new home that would put it to some use. It has a little finder scope and I think one or two eyepieces - if it is only one I may have a something I could add.
The scope is the one pictured below that I photographed when I completed the mount.
Works well as a first scope, and robust enough to be a school's scope. I would prefer to give away this little fellow to someone or school that doesn't have a scope already.
Pick up is from Sydney's eastern suburbs.
. May just bring it and let my friends to have a separate scope while Im using mine for pics.
