blackouts rock!!

There was a black out here tonight, just as I got my scope set up for a bit of in between the clouds viewing. I mean, the light pollution dropped drastically. Lasted about 45mins, and it was good. Too bad there was a cloud where I really wanted to look, but still. Dark sky for 45mins is pretty good.

One does forget how dark it can be in your town until a blackout reminds you.
