Milky way from Kulnura

Howdy
I did actually get some imaging done from Kulnura, though it was from a fixed tripod. Just 6x8 secs with 50mm f1.8 unfiltered lens ISO 1600, modded 350D )hence the reddish cast)

Great image Scott.

Nice work.

Excellent Scott.
If I'd known I would've brought the tracking platform for you.

That's great for 48 sec, that camera's so sensitive.

Thanks all
Id love to save up and get a light inexpensive mount like an eq3 or similar, to allow use of either Berts mighty lens, or my 6 inch Schmidt Newtonian, at places like Kulnura.
Thanks Andrew, next time Im coming I will let you know Tracking platform would be much appreciated for deeper imaging than this image.
