Total Lunar Eclipse from Sydney

Believe it or not, the skies cleared during totality from Sydney and I quickly snapped some shots between the clouds. Nothing special compared to what I am sure is yet to come! But I'm just glad I saw it between all the clouds.

I got to see the beginning but then the cloud moved it. I had the mount setup but there was no point going any further, there wasn't even one star for alignment. It cleared for about 20 seconds, while I was packing up of course, so I saw the totality similiar to your shot Jason.

Damn, yeah I think a lot of people would have set up and then packed up soon after. The clouds just kept coming. Glad you got to see some of the eclipse though Glen.
