C/2013 V5 (Oukaimeden)

Hi All,

Better conditions tonight meant I could do a full LRGB run of this comet.

I have also piggybacked an ED80 with Nikon DSLR, processing those images later.

Larger version here

Cheers
Stuart

Hi Stuart, that's a brilliant shot!

I've been observing and sketching it over the last couple of days. Just incredible that even through my light polluted skies, with moon interference and its low altitude that I was able to easily find it.

After it's outburst on the 12th September, it reached perihelion on the 29th September and boy weren't we are so lucky to be able to image/observe at perihelion! It made my obs of it so much more exciting.
