Comet C/2013 A1 (Siding Spring) & NGC 6744

Hi,

This ones from the weekend of NGC 6744 and Siding springs.

Had to use ISO 6400 and 2 minute exposures to capture enough light from NGC 6744 and without trailing the comet.

Worked quite well!

The two just fitted in from with some rotating of the camera.

8" F/4 astrograph HEQ pro 5 mount. Orion mini guider.

Unmodded canon 1100D, baader type III coma corrector.

20 x 2 minute subs, ISO 6400 . Stacked in DSS, processed in PS2

Cheers,

Justin.

Thanks Laurie!

Would have been nice to have a slightly larger field.

Cheers,

Justin.
