A description of whats happening here my be appropriate,3 rings laminated out of 17mm marine ply, 130 triangle in 5 different flavours equilateral, Isosolese, and the othe sort, "no rhyme nor reason" from hard wood structural bracing ply. sticthed together with construction adhesive,,prior to moving outside, break piont 180 degrees apart so I can get it out f my den. will be reenforced on the first two ring, cut and slit made,,then glass cloth and resin,,,and nice white paint,,,rollers 6 pairs of rollerblade are about to die an unnatural death,,, , the locating track cannot obviosly be seen in these pics,,,post mor later,,,
Lester, your a genius,,,gave me a great Idea...Ill finish it in the den , then punch it up thru the roof, and then extend the den, be easier and cheaper...
And I cut another 60 triangles today, will post a fresh pic with layer 2 on, after that a lot fewer triangles are needed per layer, 1st layer 40 , 2nd Layer 40, third layer 32, 4th 22 and so on.... going batty here
2nd Layer of triangles well on the way, any error in the first layer is compounded 5 fold in the second, since its having a big slit in it anyway all errors are focused on the part to be removed. pick the bad spot and cumulate errors there. Second layer is tricky because the support for curing of glue is limited, its coming along ok though, and I will post pics, and maybe even write an article for IIS, once finished...Just in case your intersted..
