failure to align in maxim

More LRGB woes...
Having gathered more data am having the dreaded out of memory in MAxim DL 5 so cut down on the number of subs to try again ,
had only 10x LRGB each. Still it failed to align
Before hand I did a 102 point T point run and adjusted PA by 10 tics/5 tics so I know my PA wasn't that bad. The only settings changed are in the star size at 0.3 to exclude big soft stars (I am manually focused).
The only thing I can think of is that when looking at the subs, even though the Baader filters are "par focal" the green and blue subs don't look so good as the red and lum. In fact the green looks out- would this screw up the align of frames?
Do I need to focus the G & B filters separately?
This is getting annoying.
It won't align in CCDSTack either.
Help

Assuming the FITS headers contain object coordinates, try astrometric alignment. Select Compute All and then try stacking them.

stacking

I don't think that will work H as I use TSX to slew and sync on targets not MAxim- I didn't have MAxim control linked to the scope so it would not be generating any useful FITS location data. Bummer!!

failure to align in Maxim

Will try it tonight H, and let you know.
Weird thing is -is that it seems to be ok on other sets, managed to do 47x lum ,G, R, and B as individual panes then combine them with another object taken with same set up.

I don't know if it is an intermittent niggle or if there is more field rotation lower down in the West which is preventing an alignment.
