celestron 80mm ED

if anybody has the celestron 80mm ED here, could you tell me the exact tube ring size needed for it?-thx- john

Nope, the Saxon/Orion/Skywatcher ED80 is the 100mm tube.

The Celestron is the only ED80 with a 90mm tube

ok, let me ask this then, is that dovetail thing on the OTA removable so i can put it in a clamshell?- thx- john
