GSO 305 mm - Canon 350D (mod) - ISO 200 - 10 x 1 sec (10 secs)

It seems that the minimum distance between two stars that this set of equipment can well resolve will be 4 arcseconds, despite of its resolution about 0.9 arcsec per pixel.

I will try with my GSO barlow. It isn't a good one. Althought it can help if I try someone more close.

It was hard do choose the ideal ISO and exposition. I did many. The best was with ISO 200. And graphic process was very hard, too. The stars came very faint, bring them out without mix them was very difficult. But I needed them very thin to get a good separation.

As I told in others messages, Canon make my stars a bit chubby !

I like viewing multiples. At school astro nights a coloured binary like Albireo is something a bit different to wow them with. Most have never heard of multiple star systems.

Thank you, Rex and Kevin. I am glad with the result, Kevin. The mod Canon 350D is capturing good color information for this time of exposition. I am waiting for a better sky to try more complex DSOs.

And I will try some custom White Balance to improve the color response. I have some ideas to experiment. If I am well succed I post here.
