I don't have any astronomy photo's to post yet so here's a few racing cars at the Bathurst 24 Hour race in November 2003. I took them with my Sony digital video camera in memory mode (hardly ideal for fast moving cars!). I took most of my still pictures that weekend with a 35mm SLR and haven't scanned the negatives yet so these are it for now.
I was there too, camping at Hell Corner (ie. trying to keep dry).
I tell you what I was glad I lived in Bathurst, we had several quick trips home for warm/dry clothes and a hot shower through the night. Nothing like watching a bunch of cars fighting it out at 3am!
That team green/kawasaki porsche made trying to get a quick snooze impossible. The noise it made screaming off up the mountain easily drained out just about everything else.
