SW ED80 on Losmandy dovetail

I just picked up a second hand NEQ6 Pro, which came with a Losmandy D style saddle. My current scope (SW BD ED80) came with a Vixen style dovetail and now I'm wondering what I need to get the two together.

Will the Skywatcher Black Diamond ED80 mount directly to a Losmandy D style dovetail or do I need some kind of adapter?

You can get a dual Vixen/D puck and it will solve your problems.
Or a ADM dual Vixen/D saddle which is more solid. http://admaccessories.com/DV_Series_Saddles.htm

Thanks guys :-)

I'm happy to switch to a Losmandy dovetail as I understand they're better anyway, I'm just not sure if they'll fit my scope out of the box.

In that scares Lee, grab a universal d plate they have holes tapped everywhere so you are sure to find a fitting spot http://www.bintel.com.au/Accessories...1/catmenu.aspx
The skywatcher rings only have one hole at the bottom, so may want to get a pair of hinged wings with two holes for extra stability (but this may be an overkill).

Just get a standard Losmandy Universal D plate and attach the rings where you like - the things are festooned with holes - you will find one that will suit the spacing you want.
