Hi all hope that title caught your attention
Been a keen keen photographer for more than 10 years and always had a love of the night sky. Finally took a step into astrophotography this week and purchased a Skywatcher ED80 on a EQ3 mount. I'll play with it as is for a time and then upgrade with a goto setup.
Anyway today was a nice afternoon and clear skies so I took her out for a spin.
Here's 2 shots from today https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3873/...40a19ca8_b.jpgIMG_5963 by Peter Ede, on Flickr
Nice start Peter, aboard. You'll find a few of us here mix and match our camera usage.
Size restrictions only count when you post the pic directly to the forum, links to your own stuff elsewhere are not a problem. 200 k btw for here.
Hi Pete,
The system won't allow u to upload pics that are too big. A lesson I have just learned. Just stick to the approx 200k per image and it'll be ok.
Nice scope. Nice clear Luna photo too. I take it the colour in the solar pic is from the filter? It can be changed of course using RGB controls in image software, although everyone has their own preferences with colour.
Nice.
