So what is the FSQ-85 going to give you that your short time owned FSQ-106 couldn't?

Less cumbersome. I like to keep things transportable, since I don't have a permanent setup. I like using my very precise GPD2 mount, which was pushing friendships far too far with an FSQ106 on top. The FSQ106 was INCREDIBLE, but at the time, I couldn't live with the price I paid and I grew to dislike it's weight.

My guilt with the expenditure was finally assuaged by a VERY welcome and exceptionally healthy tax cheque this year - healthy enough for 2 Takahashi's within 1 week and a few new bling/rings for the wife and kids
