I don't manage to get away from city lights as often as I'd like (just a few times a year) so I have to make the most with the data I have.

2 x 1 min unguided subs - that's right just two minutes of data (hence plenty of noise).
Why only two? The battery died for the telescope mount so the other thirteen subs I took were totally unusable.

Anyway I've processed the life out of it to try & salvage something

There's a fair bit to see in those 2 x 1 subs. Keep collecting them.

Not sure if I'll have any chance to get away to a dark-sky site anytime in the next few months.
If worst comes to worst I can always get some more data at next years SPSP

Pretty impressive stuff for only 2 minutes of data! I dig the purple-magenta colour too.

So much that can go wrong with gear in this game...
