I bought a 25mm extension tube and am frustrated by the rainy weather of late. However, I got these few a couple of days ago.
The misty glow on one is because it was quite cold (Tasmania) and the lens kept fogging, but I liked the effect.
Using this with my standard 18-55 zoom at approx. 40.. is giving better than 1:1 macro. It would be a lot better at 18 except the subject has to be smeared on the front element to reach focus :-)
I wish I had noticed the hairs on the stem of the Oyster mushroom at the time so I could have bought them to a better focus. I will see if they are still there after this spell of rain and try capture it.

Nice collection I have hundreds of fungi on slides from early 2000's ... something about bending down and kneeling in the mud has kept me from getting into it again in the last few years ...
