This scope is a true gem, easy to align and use and provides stunning views of the night skies. An alignment routine of 2 initial stars, plus 4 calibration stars and a polar alignment adjustment, all driven by the hand controller, takes less than 10min and then puts objects in the eyepiece all night.
I’m only selling it as I’ve just acquired an 18” SDM and SWMBO says I need to sell some gear. I have owned this scope for about 2½ years and I purchased it from the original owner that bought it less than a year prior.
The scope, mount and tripod are all in very good to excellent condition. Only real blemish is to the counterweights which have lost some paint, and have marks. The set-up work flawlessly.
