I just don't listen here's the sculptor under the moon anyway. Not my best go at it but was bored last night. 10 x 2minutes 49 sec . The autoguiding was off . Couldnt find a bright enough guidestar.
Darks were auto subtracted from the envisage software. no flats/bias etc subtracted. levels, colour balance due to moon glow, gradient removal and abit of unsharp masking were done.
Yeah, I am surprised at the "lack" of difference between the two images. The Moon obviously makes more difference to the naked eye views. I had the scope out the other night (a couple of days before full) and I couldn't find 2 alignment stars in the east, found Peacock with the help of binoculars but couldn't find any other stars bright or not, that weren't behind trees! I couldn't find much detail in anything...I think it was getting foggy too which didn't help.
Nothing wrong with the image
I guess the same amount of light comes from the galaxy regardless of the moon, and the processing removed the extra skyglow.
