The Dark Dolphin Nebula

Hello

Inspired by the image posted by Rolph, on the las new Moon I gave it a try
from Cajon del Maipo, at about 50Km from Santiago de Chile.
At first, seeing was very bad, due to some fog in the air. All my equipment became ver wet...
I was about giving up, but the suddenly temp went down and all cleared up.
Temp was so cold that when it was time to clear up, my tripod legs where frozen together....

Here a link to higher res image:
https://www.flickr.com/photos/astro_...64767/sizes/k/

Image data:
Object: Barnard 252
Telescope: C8 at F/7.5
Mount GCEM
Camera QHY8L for imaging, lodestar for guiding.
Software: Maxim DL for capture and guiding, PixInsight for integration and post processing.
Total exposure: 4h in 600s subs.

Hope you like it.
Geert

A wonderful image, Geert. Now there are at least two images of this overlooked dark nebula!
