Yet another SCAM

This one is an advance-fee fraud done by phone. A call out of the blue supposedly from a Federal Government Claims Department or some similar name saying they have identified several thousand in fee you have been wrongly charged and asking how you want to be paid the refund - cheque or direct deposit.

Hang up.

The scammer will tell you there is a fee for the process and ask you to send it to an offshore bank. These *&%^$# people have your name and address (and phone number) already. Not sure where they get it but just hang up.
