Hi Jorge, I can't be bothered taking video of the moon and using Registax; I get just as good results taking single shots with my DSLR.
There are better shots out there, but mine are pretty sharp, and I'm
happy with them.

Many times a simple single shot with DSLR gets good image of Moon, and planets. If you have luck, the image will came with no interference of refraction.

At this time I was trying, by first time, to use the movie option of Canon T3. This mode of operation is very limited. You can not change the ISO and others parameters. Only AV compensation from -3 to +3.

I tried Saturn... but it was a catastrophe ! Nor -3 got it well.

Registax work with still frame TIF and RAW. But AS!2 only work with AVI.

Moon can be shot by movie option. Others planets ... I don't know. At least Saturn... the answer is ... Not !

And to converto MOV to AVI, with codec compatible with Registax and AS!2 isn't an easy task. Prism Convert, does. Pazera, doesn't. And others conveters produce a bad quality of AVI.

In this experience I conveted with Pazera, and converted again with VirtualDub to get AVI compatible. Stacked with AS!2 and I used wavelets of Registax.
Few manipulation on Photoshop: more levels and brigthness. No noise reduction was necessary.
