0.965 to 1.25" visual back for Vixen refractor

I need a .965 to 1.25" adapter which screws into the focuser of my 80mm Vixen refactor. I rang up Astro-optical, they don't stock them but he suggested that other brands might manufacture these.

Does anyone know a place that stocks these, or if anyone has a second hand they don't need?

Agena Astro in the US has a huge amount of adaptors. Only problem is the postage is likely to be much more than the adaptor.

I could not see any on Agena, but doing a search on google of "Vixen 36.4mm to 1.25" showed up a heap. You might be lucky and get one posted for under $50.

Not sure we are all speaking of the same thing. The OP has previously chased one of these adaptors, clearly without success. In 1991 when I bought my small vixen (in Japan) I had to buy the 36.4mm to 1.25" adaptor to enable the use of 1.25 eyepieces. The scope (like most vixens at the time) was fitted with a .965 visual back. I am pretty sure most Japanese scopes of the time came with a 36.4mm drawtube. The Japanese also had 36mm eyepieces back then which may have screwed in? to these tubes. Please correct me if I am wrong. If I recall correctly I paid about $20 for my adaptor, so if it can be obtained for around $50 today, then OP should be happy to pay this.

That's the one I'm talking about.

Otherwise I might just have to find a hybrid diagonal. I do have a 45* prism which fits 1.25" eyepieces, but these are derp when trying to view anything much over the horizon.
