Anyone else on Sunshine coast see that white thing?

As i was walking crossing the road to go into Nambour hospital today ( 9:00 am ) i looked up at the moon ( clear blue sky ) and very close to it there was a white round disc, it did not appear to be moving in relatioh to the moon and at first i was somewhat confused, it actually looked like a white planet next to the moon, but of course it could not be that, anyway about an hour later when i came out of the hospital the moon was lower and the object much further away.
The obvious thought is that it must be a weather balloon, but it was hard to tell if it was moving and if it was it was very slow, also Maroochy airport is in that general area and so if it was a weather balloon it was in a dangerous position.
Anyway i just wondered if anyone else here on the coast saw it and if so what do you think it was.

maybe the 'google' balloon, its been around S.E QLD a bit this week.
it was over our general area a day or two ago.The kids have been tracking it on 'flight radar'.But I think they said it was at 60,000 feet,so be hard to see,but maybe in good light reflecting on it.

My wife saw a "star" in the south western sky from Strathpine yesterday afternoon, it was visible for an hour or so. So it was a balloon?

Google balloon.

I was on the balcony 2 nights ago walking the baby in circles (as you do) and saw a fireball bright enough to shine through the usual cloud cover going due west. VERY bright, and there was enough opening in the cloud to see a trail to confirm it was in fact a meteor.
