First attempt at the moon

This was one of my first nights attempts at the moon. Processing seems a black art to me at the moment!
Canon d20 Celestron 6" sct focal plane, camera determined exposure

Hi Simon, we welcome your first shot. When posting pics it helps other
members to help you, or critique your work,[assuming that you want it
critiqued, that is] if you list your gear and exposure details for the pic.

Okay speach, firstly, was this an afocal image[camera with a lens on it
held up to the eyepiece], or was the camera connected directly to the
scope without a lens?

It was with a T adaptor
