GSO 8" f/4 Imaging Newt with Dob Mount

Hi all,

For sale is a GSO 8" f/4 Imaging Newt (identical to this - http://www.bintel.com.au/Telescopes/...oductview.aspx), as well as a home-made dob mount to suit. It takes superb images and the dob mount is great if you just wish to do visual without the headaches of taking out an EQ mount Alistairsam was the previous owner of this scope has taken some amazing images with it. See his thread here and here. Needless to say, f/4 is amazingly fast

It does have a few nicks and scratches but does the job fine. Also included is a dovetail bar and OTA rings to suit. I am asking for $230 which I think is a fair price - half price of a new OTA plus a dob mount, tube rings and dovetail. No shipping sorry, so local buyers only

Clear skies!

That's a GSO Newt, not Skywatcher. Just an addendum for you.

Kind of interested to acquire to customise, but I must ask, is that rust on the tube forward of the finder base?

** Sale currently pending to a local IIS'er **

Lewis, the photos are a bit poor but I am pretty sure they are just tape marks + scratches to the white paint, not actually rust. I can check when I get home if the above sale falls through.
