Southern Cross Milky Way

One of the reasons I go the CDS-600D was to do some widefield with my Canon lenses. But they don't all seem to focus, and I can't change the f-stop on them. I think it's becomes they have electronic contacts and the connection to the CDS-600D doesn't. Maybe someone else has worked it out?
So I dug out my old Pentax lenses from an old SLR and they do focus. Some edge of field aberrations were present so I had to stop down to f5.6 and also clean them up in Startools. This was with 28 mm lens but I would like something even wider. Time to hunt ebay for old SLR lenses I guess.

Thanks for looking.

Quite lovely Paul, the smaller dust lanes show nicely and I like the way the Milky Way moves diagonally through the frame too

Thanks. Was quite happy considering this was an impromptu rush up to Astroron's place. Pity the battery died or I would have got more subs.
