Hi Ron,

Thanks for the link. It provides a technical background for what everyone
suspected as early as pre-season testing, which is that the Mercedes
power unit is the cleverest design.

With large percentages of the power units frozen by the rules of the
formula, Mercedes could dominate for some time.

Coverage of Qualifying is on ONE HD on Saturday starting at 15:30 AEST.
Coverage of the Race is on ONE HD on Sunday starting at 16:30 AEST.

Rain is expected on Saturday. Conditions are expected to be fine but cloudy
on the Sunday and the track conditions are likely to be cool.

Best Regards

Gary

And for those who missed it ...

Mark Webber finished third at Silverstone on the weekend in his
world endurance championship debut for Porsche.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-04-2...-debut/5401338

Adrian Newey apparently dropped in to Silverstone from the nearby
Red Bull factory to see how Mark was doing. Newey didn't attend
the F1 in China supposedly being back in the UK to work on the upgrades.
