Pillars of Creation

With all the cloud and rain......

I added some Ha Data I did with the 12" LX200GPS (that's FOR SALE ) to my wider field Eagle shot. This is now a combination of data from a 6" Starfire, Orion80ED and 12" SCT :-)

Thanks Ice Man Mike

Did you get an invite to the opening of the David Malin Awards exhibition at Sydney Observatory? Your entry displaying the sequence of the red spoy junior on Jupiter was excellent IMO.

Thanks Mike, yep got that invite. I'll be there.. You?

Apparently my widefield shot (attached) showing the conjunction of Venus/Uranus and Mercury at sunrise got chosen for the touring exhibition.

Hope to see you at the observatory on the 7th August!

That is a beautiful photo Mike (Ice). Great composition, texture and subject matter, invoking a very "other worldly" mood.

Cheers

Great image, fine resolution, amazing being able to use data from different scopes, something impossible in the past days of film.

Yes this excellent Ocean and Planet vista shared one of the display panels in the exhibition at Parkes with three of my entries:

Hi Mike

Great image.

I just wanted to add my Congrats on the David Malin award. Well Done.

Like Iceman, One of my images made it into the exhibition.

David seems to like the wide field scenic shots.

Cheers
