I am thinking of getting the Baader MPCC 3 coma corrector and adding a 2 inch LP filter to the front. I know that some spacing is required to achieve accurate coma correction.
I am hoping someone can tell me what that spacing is with the 1100D and filter.?
if you put the filter on the front of the MPCC, you should be able to just screw the MPCC into a t ring adapter on the Canon and end up with the right spacing as in http://www.baader-planetarium.com/pdf/mpcc_e.pdf

Hi Ray
I thought that should be enough as well, I have read a few articles were people have experienced comet stars as a result of over correction. I know for most DSLR cameras 55mm is enough. Hopefully some 1100D users with this configuration can confirm if stock standard MPCC is at the correct length.
Reading around on some other forums the direct MPCC to T ring is fine to use for 1100D. It starts to get messy with CCD cameras, thanks all for the input much appreciated.
