Really nice shot Paul....you dont often see all that blue neb around this target...I have seen similar in {Mike Strongman} image which won the David Malin award. http://www.pbase.com/strongmanmike2002/image/55931133
I think this target would be a perfect candidate to layer a short exposure so its not so overexposed in the middle to get rid of that ball of light....I still dont know how to do this even though Scott sent me the link on how to.
Paul as we have discussed before, your images always reafirm my faith in the underated Newtonian for astrophotography. Keep it up i would think your due for a award soon.

Thanks Netwolf,
an award? We'll I'd be honoured and over the Moon........ and then some.
I'm just happy I can produce images which get people interested in what the skies have to offer (especially non-amateurs).
