Lunt 35mm scope - First light

I thought I would treat myself and got a new Lunt 35mm scope (delux package) from Andrews Communications. Visually it has a brighter disc than my Coronado PST; a bit like a mini version of the view through the Lunt 60mm scope.

I literally had a few precious minutes before work this morning to do some imaging. Took 4 very short videos (2 for the disk and 2 for the proms) using my ZWO colour camera (yes, I know monochrome is better...). The scope was on an alt-az mount and I let the Sun drift across the field of view. Could achieve prime focus with my camera without the need of a Barlow. Processed in Registax and CS5.

Looking forward to spending more time exploring what the scope can do,

Lovely little scope for visual use and now imaging.

Here is an image giving an idea of what the Sun looks like visually through the scope.
