M83 Southern Pinwheel Galaxy - first attempt

This is purely an RGB composition from which a luminance layer was derived and manipulated.
Exposures were only 20min for each channel

This is my first attempt at a galaxy.
Hope you enjoy...

Johnny

Good stuff John really just needs more exposure (did I say that..? ) the HII regions stand out quite nicely but you need to get some more yelow/red into the core.
