It's always clear on a full Moon

First Moon pic with my new second hand toy, a Meade SN 102 OTA.

Details... Meade 102mm F7.8 achro refractor, GSO yellow filter, 16 stacked frames of 1/125th of a second at ISO 200, Pentax K-x, HEQ5 pro.

That's pretty decent Kevin

You like these little refractors don't ya! I got a nice 100mm f6 acro in a cell waiting to get built into something, it will probably be a while before I do anything with it, fast newts are to tempting

Thanks Jo.

Mate, I am in two minds with telescopes. Big newts are great, no CA, but I hate collimation. I love refractors, no collimation, but with achros I hate the CA and refractors generally have less aperture for buck. With the Moon or Sun though the CA doesn't matter and cheap achro refractors work just fine.
