41mm Panoptic Make me an offer!

After quite a bit of thought I have decided to sell my 41mm Panoptic. I am not sure how old this one is as came as a freebie with my 20" but I believe it is around 3/4 years old. Specs of this EP are

Weight 960g
Eye relief 27mm
Field Stop Diameter 46mm
AFOV 68deg
According to TV this gives the largest possible field in a 2" EP

I think this would be a wonderful EP for an SCT or long focal length scope. In an f10 SCT it would yield a exit pupil of 4.1mm which is just about ideal and 1.3deg TFOV in an 8" f10 and 0.83deg in a 12" f10.

Reason for sale is that I find in my 20" f5 the exit pupil is just too big and while the lovely wide field and crisp views are enchanting I just don't use it enough to justify having the $$ tied up in it.

They currently retail at $629 (see http://www.bintel.com.au/Eyepieces-a...oductview.aspx ) and I have had no offers at advertised price please make me an offer.

Well nearly 400 looks and still no takers. Just a reminder this has the widest field available in a 2" EP anywhere. In my scope it is the only EP that will get all 4 members of the Grus Quartet. For a long f10 SCT it would be just about an ideal widefield EP and in a short FL scope would allow you to use the main scope as a "finder" before switching to higher power.

I will leave this open a few more days at a further reduced price of $450 plus postage before deciding if I keep it for sale or asking for offers.

Make me an offer

Anyway this has now had 700 looks and no offers, so I am throwing it open to any offers. I will not necessarily accept any low offers but just trying to meet the market.

Cheers
