How does Mr Peach do it..I mean really?

How is he consistently producing the best images of every planet always, what does he know and do that everyone else doesn't..??

Amazing and absolutely no offence to anyone on here, we certainly have a Tendulka, a Viv Richards and a Ponting and certainly some really excellent work gets shown here for sure... but Damien is like the Don Bradman of planetary imaging, there's him then a bit of a gap and then there is everyone else

Mike

It's all down to equipment Mike.
This was taken with his Nifty Fifty from the Flying Saucer he obviously has.

Damn he's good.

That is numbingly good. I wish I had the seeing once in my life to see that visually.

he goes to barbados. They have some of the best seeing conditions in the world. I have the same equipment he does and i dont get images like that. Im definately going to barbados for the 2018 opposition of Mars.

You have to remember Damian started way back getting a name for himself before the rest and is now extremely experienced, but others have achieved similar standards like Bird and Chris Go, but Damian hits the high bar more often. He is just more metiulous and persues the best seeing more successfully (C14's quite portable). Some are very jealous and assume he uses exclusive hardware/software denied to others but he doesn't. Seeing here for me has got to near 8/10 briefly and is consistently average which affects deep space less than planetary although good seeing can be seen in deep space at moderate FL. Damian gets seeing 9+ for those images, he takes lots of less good images you don't see published!

John.
