My first planetary

The ghost of jupiter, imaged with a Canon 300d, C8NGT

two images of 30 seconds stacked-minimal processing-image cropped and noise removed with neatimage

just happy to have after long last finally succeeded in bagging a planetary even though this shot is nothing special. Just needed the bigger scope and the canon !

A little over processed, but better than some of my first shots. Those shots were totally blank, not even any noise. So keep at it, you got the equipment now. Just keep practicing.

True blue! Very nice! None of that fake colour Hubble nonsense! Just ease off on the jpeg compression a tad. Although I'm sure those on dialup won't mind 4k images.
