Hi Everyone
Having missed out on imaging the horse and flame last year I looked forward to imaging it this season. I did get some shots last season but it was already March and the horsey was getting low in the sky. I also hadn't purchased my LP filter at the time so the few test shots were mostly a white wash anyway.
Would have liked more data this season but the Moon, clouds and Christmas lights cut down my imaging time.

... And what do you know?? Its new moon weekend and its raining
This is about 1.5 hours , 37 x 2 minute subs for the field and 24 x 30 sec subs for the stars, combined using Pixinsights HDR comp tool. So really only 74 minutes.
Taken on 1/2/14 with the Canon 60Da on C11 Edge HD with Hyperstar lens. F2, ISO 800 with IDAS LPS filter. Processed in Pixinsight.
I've linked two larger images. The original and another, a bit brighter with the colour pushed up a touch. As usual I couldn't make a decision
New adjusted white balance large

Thanks for looking
