2nd Hand Smart Phone?

Hi guys

My son's Samsung Galaxy S2 died, and needs to be replaced.

Was thinking a Samsung Galaxy S3 , or maybe another S2, if someone has one hanging around they don't need anymore?

Just throwing it out there just in case...

I recently bought a Samsung clone (no badges or labels) from Kogan for $149.

Big touch screen, camera front & back, outstanding value.

Only gripe is that, compared to Apple apps, Android ones seem a bit clunky and less polished (but heck, that's not the phone's fault!)

Do you have a ball park figure you want to spend? I will take a look on the Classifieds folder at work.

No more than ~$300 would be ideal.

Hi Mike,

I have an iPhone 3GS unlocked 16GB phone you can have for nada, nix, nutthink if it will get you out of trouble?

Needs a new screen protector, but if you want it, it's yours, I might be able to scrounge up a charger and a cable if you need it.

I also have an LG Android smartphone as well if he prefers Android, I can't remember the model, although I think it has Gingerbread on it. Both have been used on Virgin, which is Optus network

Let me know. I am busy tomorrow but could drop it off in the city to you on Tuesday around lunchtime if you need it soon.

Cheers

Chris

I'm charging it now, seems the power button doesn't work, but you can get around that by using the on screen lock function for accessibility as required. Still it will cost you nothing, so let me know if you want me to drop it off on Tuesday, even if you chuck it in the bin later or hang on to it as an emergency phone for you or the girls, no matter.

you could get an unlocked HTC one xl for around $350 from office works brand new.

but if he prefers samsung .. then I guess that's not an option .. (or root it and use a Samsung Rom etc)

Alas, no luck. There were two Samsung Galaxy S4's and one S3 for sale but above your ~$300...for the asking price of the S3 you could buy one on Kogan for the same or less with 12 months warranty.

S2 Plus on Kogan is $289.
