Orion the Hunter
Living in the Southern Hemisphere poor Orion is always upside down, so when I went to Europe for my summer holidays I was very excited to see Orion the Hunter as the ancients once saw him, including his bow and arrow.
Taken high on the Pyrenees on a cold windy night.
Canon 5D 3 - 15mm 2.8 Zeiss - 7 frames - 20 seconds

That's just beautiful and puts Orion in a new light so to speak.
Superb framing.

Greg.
hahaha I kept that PM and went back to it because I remembered you wrote,
'If money is no problem then the new Zeiss 15mm F2.8 is the best prime widefield lens you can get.'
and it stuck with me ever since.
Took some patience, saving up, some more research and finally when I was ready I sold the Canon 16-35mm L 2.8
Thank you Greg some of the best advice I've had thus far!

Thanks John, awesome hopefully you can find some dark skies, light pollution is terrible, guess it depends where you're staying. Where abouts are you heading?
