I am attaching some information on this event from the Sydney Observatory Website...

I am looking for any other information that anyone has on this event too...like who when and exactly where...

I am hopeful that I can attend and take a scope...see attachement with more information...

I know that NSAS was looking for volunteers too...

I did make it to this event with 8 inch scope on Saturday night, and both of my sons...a good time was had by all.

Although even with the bridge lights off, it was not particularly dark it was still fun.

I got a chance to help many people look through a telescope many for the first time. It was nice to share the hobby...more than one person calimed to be inspired now to get into the hobby.

Hats off to the volunteers and organizers that made the thing happen.

Great to hear everyone had a good time in an area where you see more Hollywood stars than the real thing.
