Just getting into this astronomy game, and wondering if there is anyone out there near Bondi who might want to catch up when the skies eventually clear.
Also, where are the best spots for viewing in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. What about the reserve along the ocean cliffs at Dover Heights?
Please feel free to email me or reply through this thread.
Welcome Mike,
I`m in Albury so i can`t help you.
I need someone with a sling shot to help me with the new street light i have now.. I forgotten how to make them..
Welcome Mike (evo), not near Bondi, but near the cliffs will give you slightly better seeing to the east. However, watch the dew on the cliffs. When ever you are near water bodies, dew or sea spray you are more likely to get dew on your scope or observing gear.
Best of luck with your entrance into the hobby, ask as many questions that you like, this site is about growth. We are more than happy to help.
Welcome Evo, I'm a bit tooo far south. Tried the local Socs/clubs?
