Arrow pointed at Jupiter 1011UT

To all that adore Jupiter and the visually interesting.

At 1011UT Jul 17 (my calculation) Jupiter's moons will make what looks like an arrow pointed at the planet!

Io will be the "point", Europa and Ganymede (one above the other) will complete the "tip" and Callisto will make the end of the "shaft"

This will make a great photo if possible and weather permitting.

Good Luck,

Ed

Let's hope for clear skies at the Qld Astrofest. It would be a good opportunity for that rarest of rare astro shot.....a widefield shot of Jupiter
