The AstroPack - Field Fused Outlet box

I thought I would share you with you all this little box I made up after being frustrated with lots and lots of equipment out in the field and wires all over the place.

Equipment:

1 x IP55 Box
2 x Bus boards
5 x Cigarette sockets
1 x 120Amp with voltmeter switch
1 x Blade Fuse box
Varying LED Blade sizes
6m of 4AG cable
1 x 120AH deep cycle battery

Most parts I got from Jaycar, except the battery

The reasoning behind the box was to make setup easy and not need to cart around a 30kg battery on top of the telescope, mount and tripod. Also since I am not too far from my car when I do observe, the battery can be mounted in the car and the 6m cable running to the box can be a good distance away from the car to setup.

Clear Skies All.
