Looking For A New Scope?

For those of you looking for a new scope with a 'great' buy it now price you should really check out the following link. Twenty-six satisfied customers already did!

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Celestron...item2c6326d89b

Last time I checked the dollar hadn't quite fallen that far.

Enjoy.

On a motorcycle forum to which I subscribe, they have a thread "The overpriced bikes thread" Everyone gets a good laugh out of it. Perhaps we could have such a thread for telescopes. The above would be a really good starter.

26 people bought it at $84.95.

Sellers tend to put a ridiculous price randomly on their items to see if anyone bites.

Still funny to see!

Aahh. I thought that it was just a typo and that the buy it now price should have been $100.

Um, less than one half of a decent set of binoculars.... for a hefty price.

Generally it's a case of the item being out of stock, it's cheaper to up the price to an amount nobody will pay than to remove it and relist it.
