Einstein Field Equations for beginners

For those who are interested in learning the elementary aspects of General Relativity here is an excellent tutorial.

As the author states it is not designed to be mathematically rigorous, thereby making it possible to understand what is otherwise a very complicated subject to most people.

In essence it is an explanation from a physicist's perspective rather than a mathematician's.

Thanks Steven - made it possible for an ancient physicist to grasp the basic ideas

I'm glad it proved helpful Ray.

He should continue the series on how exact solutions to the field equations are obtained and their impact on our understanding of astrophysics and cosmology.

Nice vids - Watching physics vids on youtube is like a blackhole, you start and then 10 hours later wonder where the time went.
